DEPARTURE AND ARRIVAL We will be meeting in the Student council room (231) at 7:30 am and we will depart for Camp Y-Noah at 9:00am. Please bring your luggage to the room to be packed onto the bus at 7:30am. If you need to be in a class to complete any work prior to leaving, please check in to room 231 that morning and sign out. Sign back in upon your return.
SCHOLASTIC INFO You are responsible for completing all work missed due to your attendance of the Leadership Retreat. Because this trip takes place before Thanksgiving Break, be sure to get your makeup work prior to attending the retreat.
PACKING INFO Due to space limitations, please limit your luggage to one bag and one sleeping bag/pillow. The retreat takes place in late November, so the weather will vary between day and night. Dress in layers so you can be comfortable during the retreat no matter the temperature.You will be participating in both indoor and outdoor events regardless of the weather conditions. Please see the packing list below for specific packing details. You should bring:
Blankets and a pillow or sleeping bag -
Both guys and girls will be in heated cabins. Bring a sleeping bag, pillow, and a fitted sheet to cover the mattress.
Flashlight (other than your phone)
2 pairs of shoes (in case one pair gets wet) - bring RAINBOOTS if you have them
Athletic clothing for outdoor games
Outdoor clothing that can get dirty (rain coat, gloves, scarf, rain boots, etc.)
You should avoid bringing:
Food of any kind (it will attract bugs/animals)
Electronics besides your phone
Each student is responsible for their own items. Student Council, SMFHS, and Camp Y-Noah are not responsible for any lost or stolen items. Be responsible!
