There is a MANDATORY participant meeting after school on Wednesday, March 16 in room 231. At least one member of your team must be present.

  1. Participants are teams of two graduating seniors.
  2. There is a mandatory meeting Wednesday, March 16th for all seniors participating - at least one member of each team must attend. 
  3. You MUST have a W-9 from the charity you chose (all charities must be based in the US)
  4. Each team must turn in a signed Senior Survivor Code of Conduct prior to participating.
  5. All items* for sale are subject to approval by administration and Student Council Advisors.
  6. Nutritional Information should be displayed for each food item. 
  7. COVID Waiver

  1. Competition begins on Wednesday, March 23rd and ends on Friday, March 25th. 
  2. Students are not permitted to leave the school after 8:00 on Wednesday, March 23rd until you are eliminated or until March 25th at 2:30. You may leave for sports or a medical emergency (Food can be dropped off)
  3. All money will be counted each day of competition at 2:30pm in the library. Participants may reimburse themselves for any purchases made for the competition--the rest will be donated. 
  4. If you do not raise at least $50 in donations the first day you will be eliminated and cannot sell on Day 2. 
  5. All teams stay overnight on Day 1. 
  6. Immunity challenges will begin at 8:30pm and end at 10:00pm. The team that wins the challenge can’t be eliminated for the night. 
  7. If you are eliminated after the first night, you cannot stay the night the subsequent evening. (You are allowed to sell your remaining inventory, but money must be counted and donated).
  8. Signed Forms + Team-Plan are due to Kester (104) or McMahan (139) by Monday, March 21. 
  9. The surviving team who has raised the most money by the end of the school day on Friday, March 25, 2022 will be crowned Champion. 
Teams of two graduating seniors compete to raise the most money for charity in an annual Senior Year Tradition @ SMFHS. The Senior Survivor Week will run from March 23-March 25. During this week, teams must find creative ways to earn donations from students and staff by selling items that will go towards their charity of choice. Senior Survivors participating will arrive @ 7:30AM each day and sell their items throughout the day, when not in a class. After school there will be competitions for the teams to participate in following with the teams spending the night at the school. The team with the highest donation total at the end of the competition will win!

  1. Participants are required to attend classes throughout Senior Survivor - participants may not skip classes to sell items. 
  2. All school rules apply. Teachers with hall duty will assist in monitoring the participants during class periods to ensure minimal disruption.
  3. Participants are not allowed to interrupt classes. (Participants will be given a list of study halls and may sell during their off periods to study halls)
  4. Participants and student body are required to be to class on time and may not be late due to selling/purchasing items for Senior Survivor. 
  5. Any teacher or administrator can disqualify any student or team for not following school rules.
  6. No selling of live animals is permitted.
