What is Student Council?
Student Council is a student-led class and club that aims to serve, create a sense of community, and become stronger leaders through the planning and execution of Student Council events at SMFHS.
When does Student Council meet?
Student Council meets everyday during 4th period. It is a class period on your schedule.
What are the requirements for students in the class?
Each student is required to (1) assist with at least two events per quarter and (2) complete 12 community service hours per quarter.
Service hours can be completed beginning in the summer and rolled over throughout the school year.
What does Student Council do during the class period?
During the class period, Student Council is usually planning and preparing for events that we put on. We also do a lot of class bonding activities! This class is very active and there is always something to do.
