ABOUT THE RETREAT
The Leadership Retreat is a two-day workshop in which 9th-12th grade students will be challenged to think, see, and lead differently. Students will attend leadership workshops planned and presented by other SMFHS students, play team-building games, and bond as a student body. All attendees were nominated by the SMFHS staff and received a permission packet. If you were not nominated and would like to attend, please fill out the self-nomination form on this page.
CABIN ASSIGNMENTS
Please see the linked list of cabin assignments for the Leadership Retreat. If you have any concerns, please contact me (st_dkester@smfcsd.org) and Mr. Renner (st_trenner@smfcsd.org) by Wednesday, November 12.
STUDENT MEDICATION NEEDS
If a student regularly takes medication at school or has emergency medication stored in the school clinic, that medication will be brought to camp with us. Two of our staff chaperones will be trained by our school nurse on how and when to administer student medication. They will have this medication on them at all times.
If a student has an overnight medication that needs to be brought on the trip, the student's parent/guardian will need to fill out the form linked on this page. (There are copies of this form in my room (104) or the school clinic) This form requires a signature from your child's physician as well.
ALTERNATE TRANSPORTATION
If a student needs to leave the retreat for another scholastic event (practice, music concert, etc.) the student must turn in an alternate transportation to room 104.
