To enter your school/local club, sport, or organization in the Homecoming Parade please fill out the form below.
Vehicle Volunteers
We are looking for volunteers to drive their truck, jeep, or convertible in the parade and provide rides for our parade honorees. Your vehicle could escort the Mayors of Stow or Munroe-Falls, The Grand Marshall, Homecoming Court, or the Board of Education! Sign up below.
Homecoming Parade FAQs
Q: When is the parade?
A: The parade will begin at 5 on Friday, October 2nd.
Q: Where is the Homecoming Parade?
A: The Homecoming Parade Runs from Riverwood Chapel on Newcomer Rd. to Stow-Munroe Falls High School on Graham Rd.
Q: Who can sign up for the parade?
A: All clubs, sports teams, and businesses in the Stow-Munroe Falls area can sign up. Use the Parade Entry Form linked above to sign up.
Q: What's the Homecoming theme?
A: The theme this year is Rio! Feel free to follow the theme by dressing glamorously, and Parade participants are encouraged to decorate their float in accordance to the theme for a chance to win our best float award!
Q: What time should I arrive if I am driving in the parade?
A: Drivers (trucks, convertibles, floats, etc.) should arrive at Riverwood Chapel by 3:30pm.
Q: What time should I drop off my children who are marching in the parade?
A: All parade participants should arrive to Riverwood Chapel no later than 4:00pm. (See drop-off map)
Q: Where should I plan to meet my children who were marching in the parade?
A: The parade ends in the Stow-Munroe Falls High School parking lot (the driveway loop). Plan to pick your child up near the gravel driveway by the fieldhouse.
Q: How do I know where to go if I am marching in the parade?
A: Student Council members will be at the drop-off point (the overhang in front of Riverwood Chapel) to direct participants to their assigned parade locations according to the organization with whom they are marching.
Q: Can I park my car at Riverwood Chapel?
A: Not until after the parade. Overflow parking will be open at Riverwood after the parade once Graham Rd. reopens to traffic at 5:30pm.
