RULES & GUIDELINES:

• The game will start with rock paper scissors to determine possession and then will start on the goal line

• The team in possession of the ball will have 5 consecutive downs to score

• Try to keep the game moving and avoid stalling. If your team continually stalls you could possibly be penalized with the loss of one player for the following game. 

• During play, the opposing team must give a five Mississippi count before rushing the quarterback. If a player chooses to cross the line of scrimmage and rush the quarterback, the quarterback is eligible as a rusher. If no player crosses the line after the 5 second count, the quarterback is not eligible as a runner.

•  If the ball is handed off or passed forward behind the line of scrimmage, the defense may cross the line of scrimmage as the runner is live. 

• After a score, the opposing team will start with the ball at the same goal line.

• There will be no extra point attempts and any ties will be decided by a best two out of three rock paper scissors game. 

• When with the ball, a player must be touched with two hands by an opposing player to be down. The ball will be downed wherever the player is touched. Any excessive contact can result in the loss of a player for that game and possibly future games. 

• Players are reffing their own games so try to solve any, hopefully, there are none, disputes peacefully.
